Refund & Exchange Policy
We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we’re here to assist.
Return Policy
You have 7 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. Unfortunately, after this period, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, items must:
- Be unused, in the original condition, and in the original packaging.
- Include all documentation, pamphlets, and accessories.
- Be properly wrapped for return to prevent damage during transit. We are unable to refund items damaged in return shipping due to inadequate packaging.

Return Process
- Ensure you include your receipt, proof of purchase, or order number.
- Please note, items returned in damaged condition (not due to our fault) or missing parts may be eligible only for partial refunds.
- Items returned after 7 days will not be accepted.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, refunds will be processed and credited to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times can vary.
- If you’ve done the above and still haven’t received your refund, please reach out to us at info@everydaycarry.co.za.
Sale Items
Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To exchange an item, email us at info@everydaycarry.co.za and send your item to Everyday Carry & Gadgets.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Otherwise, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.
Specific Product Returns (Belts/Torches/Knives)

Incorrect Size or Type:
- If we made an error, we’ll cover all return shipping costs.
- If you made a mistake, a return shipping fee of R298 applies for collection and return. Please cover the buckle with soft fabric or bubble wrap to avoid scratches, as scratched items cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Change of Mind:
- If you received the correct item but changed your mind, a 25% restocking fee will apply. Return shipping will be at your own cost.

Custom Sizes:
- Custom-sized belts are non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing issue. Please double-check your measurements before ordering. Contact us at info@everydaycarry.co.za for custom orders.
Shipping for Returns
To return your product, courier it to Everyday Carry & Gadgets. If the mistake is on the customer’s side, the return and re-shipping cost will be R149 per trip (R298 for both collection and return).
